Thunder roared.Clouds darkened.Sofia lay there,in the alley.She was wet,but she didn’t feel wet.She couldn’t feel anything.
Sofia,Sofia.I like you,Sofia.I like you.You are just so smart,I like you.I like you.
The voice rang in her head,she made no notice of it.She let them past through her .Night came,and unfolded itself.Sofia got up.The heavy rain had stopped,and now there was just drizzle.As she prepared to move,the lights of a building opposite her started to flicker.Sofia put her steps to a halt.She pulled out her gun.The light started to flicker more now,and Sofia held her gun tightly.She saw a man.He was in black,all black,just like Eric had been in all white.
“Hello,Sofia!”said the man and he smiled a sinister smile.
“Who are you and what do you want from me?”said Sofia,calmly,while aiming the gun at her unexpected guest.
“I am one of you,Sofia,don’t hurt me.We are one and the same,”said the man,calmly.
“One and the same?”
“ I bet you’d like to know more about that,don’t you,Sofia?”asked the man,smiling even broader now.
Sofia stared at him hard.The man looked as if he would belong to the army.He was thin and slender. He did not look like a snake,but seeing him,an image of a snake would come to mind.Sofia didn’t like snakes.
“You have a name?”Sofia asked,her gun still aimed at her guest.
“Robert,”answered the man,ever so smiley.
“What do you want,Robert?”Sofia asked,with a smile that noted sarcasm.
Robert smiled and leaned on a brickwall.”I suppose you know now then,?”.He spoke as if he was talking to someone he knew well.Like he was talking to family.Sofia shrugged.
“What,that scumbag Eric didn’t tell you?,”Robert asked now,with a hint of shock in his words.
“He told me about rage and anger,that’s all,”Sofia said,and she began to slowly lower her gun.
“Ahh!So he did tell you,so he did…”Robert chuckled to himself.
“What do YOU WANT,ROBERT?”Sofia began to get impatient.It was night and she had to get to her car.
“Hold on there,girl,”Eric smiled.”No use a’ hurrying,time is going to wait,”Robert chuckled some more.
“NO IT WON’T!”
“It will have to,”said Robert with a mysterious smile”Shall I start my explanation now?”
“Get on with it,bitch,”said Sofia,quite pleased at her lash back.
“Anger and rage controlled me too,Sofia.Not just me and you,Sofia,but many more.Hundreds,perhaps.Or maybe thousands!I am just like you!”said Robert,advancing closer to her everytime.
“And you are telling me this because..?”Sofia asked,becoming more curious.
“I want you to join me,Sofia.Join me.Join us,Sofia.Join us to spread anger around the world.This rage,this rage,is not all bad,Sofia.We help people.We help!Families get stronger after the loss of their loved one,who we got rid of.Kids are spared from the terrible horrors of growing up!Join me,Sophia.Join me.Join US!”
Robert was now holding her by her arms,and looking at Sofia’s eyes.Sofia felt pulled by Robert’s beautiful dark blue ocean eyes.She couldn’t escape.She didn’t want to.Robert made his nose and Sofia’snose touch.Sofia closed her eyes.It was all so mesmerizing.So special.So beautiful.
“Sofia,?”Robert called her,only his lips moving.
“Hmmmh?”Sofia said,still bewitched by Robert.
Robert lifted his head and that awoke Sophia from her dream.
”Will you join me,Sofia?,”
