Play this song as you read! ^^

The summer leaves covered the tops of Carrie's car. She gave a loud sigh. This is so troublesome. She waited for the wind to come and blow it all away, but after awhile she gave up. With a disgusted look on her face, she used the very edge of the side of her hand to push the leaves off. By the time the leaves fell on to the ground, the wind blew in and swept Carrie's dirty blonde hair across her face.

Annoyed, Carrie scraped her thin, straight hair off her face and entered the car, slamming the door closed as she started the engine. "Bad day?"

Carrie looked up, surprised. On her right was a girl with red thick hair in a black dress, face pale with freckles. She was pretty, and her eyes were green and intense. But she appeared cool.

Carrie smirked at the familiar face. "You again? What do you want?"

"Oh I'm fine, thanks for asking," the girl said sarcastically. Her teeth looked sharp as it appears when she talks, as if she's ready to bite into someone. Carrie's car engine suddenly died. A frown appeared on Carrie's forehead.

"AAARGHH!!!" Carrie screamed. She pushed her hands against her scalp, furious. She was ready to rip them off, but stopped at the thought of the agony.

"Well at least you got the perfect boyfriend," the girl told Carrie. Carrie turned to her curiously.

"How did you know that?"

"Oh doesn't the whole school know that?" the girl glanced at Carrie, fake-innocent looking. "Isn't that the plan all along? To date the most popular guy in school, become the most popular girl, then take the title of Prom Queen?" The girl batted her eyes, smiling a gorgeous Cover Girl smile that appeared both beautiful and evil at the same time.

Carrie squinted her eyes at her. "Well no one's gonna believe you. They all think I'm perfect." Carrie smiled proudly, her full, pink lips turning up into a curve.

"Oh don't worry, I'm not planning to tell anyone," the girl told her. Carrie raised an eyebrow. She tried the engine again. Still doesn't work. Carrie groaned.

"Don't worry, it's gonna get a whole lot worst," the girl said.

"Worse?" Carrie looked at the girl.

"Oh look," the girl said, pointing outside of the car. "Your friend."

Carrie looked out and there was Abby, slick black hair tied into a front-ponytail, falling over her shoulder that were bare. Abby was wearing an off-shoulder blouse, showing off her golden skin as it glowed in the sun. Her smile was shining as she came to the car.

Carrie looked to her right, but the girl was gone. Soon, Abby replaced her. "Hey, what's up girl? Mind if I tag along for the ride?"

"Yeah sure," Carrie said, smiling confidently, trying to cover up her nervousness. She tried the engine again and it went smoothly. She smirked.

"So I was thinking bout the party tonight..." Carrie wasn't listening to Abby. Her head was filled with her own thoughts about the mysterious girl with the weird vibe.

"Worse huh? Yeah right... It's only gonna get better and better..."

***

"So what happened last night?" the girl asked, her thick red hair bouncing as she tries to catch up with Carrie's speed. Carrie just finished her classes and was planning to get out of school before anything bad happens...

"Nothing for you to know," she told. She glanced at the tall girl. "Do you ALWAYS wear black?"

The girl shrugged. "I don't see why I can't." Carrie rolled her eyes and walked faster, trying to avoid the girl. But she caught up again.

"You know he'll find out sooner or later," she told Carrie, striding her long legs. "This school is full of gossipers. But you don't have to lie to Brett."

"I don't know what you're talking about," Carrie said as she reached her car. And there was Brett, her boyfriend, leaning against the car looking all tall and handsome. Carrie looked around for the girl but she wasn't around. She turned to Brett and gave him her winning smile. "Hey there."

"Hi Carrie," Brett waved. "Look, I wanna talk..."

Carried undid the first few buttons of her shirt and approached Brett. "Bout what, Brett?"

"Bout last night," Brett told her, looking straight into Carrie's light brown eyes.

"Nothing happened last night, Brett," Carrie told him, kissing him lightly on the ear as she tiptoed, trying to reach his height.

"See, I don't think that's true," Brett said, backing away.

"Really?" Carrie asked, as if she really didn't know anything bout last night. "Why don't we make up for it in the car? Or do you wanna get back to my place and settle it?"

"I know bout you and Kyle last night, Carrie," Brett told her. "I saw you guys going upstairs during the party."

"What are you talking bout, Brett?" Carrie exclaimed.

"It's over, Carrie," Brett told her, walking off. Carrie watched in dismay. Then she entered her car and started the engine, then stormed out of the carpark.

"Told you it was gonna get worse." Carrie didn't even have to turn to know who it was. "You know, Brett was ready to forgive you if you just apologized. You were pretty drunk last night and he's a nice guy."

"Oh shut up," Carrie snapped, undoing a couple more buttons. She was hot with anger, and the girl wasn't helping. "You don't know anything. That son of a bitch thinks he can dump me. Well, let's just see about that."

Carrie drove fast, pushing her anger out on the engine. 65. 70. "Who are you anyway?" Carrie asked the girl.

"I'm not someone you really wanna know," the girl said carefully. Carrie snorted. 75. 80. The car swept pass any other vehicle that was blocking its way.

"I don't think that's a real problem, since I already met you," Carrie told her. 90. 95. They were coming to a traffic light. It just turned orange. Carrie ignored it. She was determined to get to her destination as fast as possible.

"You know you should really slow down," the girl warned calmly. 100. Carrie drove pass the other vehicles that were slowing down at the traffic light.

"I ASKED YOU WHO YOU ARE!" Carrie shouted angrily.

The car drove pass the traffic light just after the light turns to red. A moving truck honked and pushed against the side of Carrie's car, denting it deep. the car slides away from the now stopping truck and eventually tips over several times.

On a tree nearby, the girl sat on a high branch, her long legs swinging. The red hair blew off her shoulders as the wind blows, bringing along the sound of the ambulance. Her face was sad, but accepting and strong. She peeked into the car through the broken glass windows. People crowded the car, but no one dared to do anything. Inside laid Carrie, lifeless, blood running down her temple. Her eyes were wide open, but she remains still.

"Told you not to lie."

------

Well, that's a bit different then the usual things I write about, but HAD to put in my usual my fantasies in there ^^" So I think you guys can guess for yourselves who this girl was.

The idea of the story came when I was listening to the song "Don't Lie" by SM the Ballad as I put up there. It was for you guys to listen to as you hear the song ^^ So yea, the mood of the story was sort of like the song. Sort of.

Anyways, hope you enjoyed the story! I'm sorry for the long break on The Womb, but it's coming soon! Promise! ^^
